Beam Park is a new mixed-tenure neighbourhood transforming the former Ford factory site in East London, with a diverse range of homes set within an extensive landscape framework.
The masterplan brings together family houses and higher-density apartment buildings, with 50% affordable housing. A new rail station, public plaza, schools, nursery, shops, health and community facilities create the infrastructure for a connected and sustainable new neighbourhood.
Landscape is central to the masterplan, with open space forming 77% of the site, 40% of which is publicly accessible. This extensive landscape creates a distinctive setting for the new homes while responding to the site’s complex infrastructure and flood-risk constraints.
