Wembley Point is an ambitious mixed-use development that aspires to create a new arrival place for Stonebridge, all while combining a hierarchy of public spaces, create employment opportunities and provide quality homes for all.

The first phase of development involved a Permitted Development conversion of the existing 1963 Wembley Point building into residential use. Within this retrofit approach, the facade was redesigned to improve comfort, energy usage and external appearance. The second phase of development will provide 547 homes (25% affordable), 15% of which are earmarked for families. The proposal also provides 1000 sqm of commercial space, four building blocks ranging in height from 5 to 35-storeys, offering 52% dual aspect homes.

The concept was to create a network of open spaces, improve permeability and connect the ‘island site’ back to its surroundings through a set of secondary routes and connections.
