Central Foundation Girls’ School is the redevelopment and extension of an established secondary school across two sites in Bow.
New and refurbished buildings reorganise the school around a landmark entrance, with a dining hall, auditorium, science classrooms and rooftop multi-games area. The proposals create more space for sport and improve connections across the campus.
A 1930s building has been converted for the sixth form and a Grade II listed building adapted for art and music, alongside renewed drama and technology facilities. New landscaping brings the different elements together and creates external social and breakout spaces for students.
