Trout Road is a new residential neighbourhood regenerating a former industrial site between Yiewsley High Street and the Grand Union Canal.
The masterplan is structured around a new route connecting the High Street with the canal, opening up the site and creating a sequence of landscaped public spaces. A mix of building types responds to the surrounding residential grain and canalside setting, with brick and glazed brickwork referencing Yiewsley’s industrial and brick-making heritage.
A new makerspace brings activity to the High Street, combining retail with flexible workspace for small businesses and makers. Alongside 35% affordable housing, new green spaces, zero-carbon measures and over 400% Biodiversity Net Gain create a sustainable and biodiverse new neighbourhood
