Admiral Wharf and Clipper Wharf are residential-led buildings forming the western entrance to London Dock and defining the edges of Arrival Square and Gauging Square.
Admiral Wharf is conceived as a dockside cluster, with varied heights responding to the surrounding townscape. Precast concrete and coloured metal give the buildings a shared identity, while balconies and changing façade details distinguish the individual elements.
Clipper Wharf forms a pavilion alongside the Grade II listed Pennington Street Warehouse, its strong horizontal expression responding to the scale and character of the historic building.
Active ground floors, colonnades, terraces and landscaped edges animate the surrounding squares and quayside, while new pedestrian routes connect Vaughan Way and Virginia Street into the wider London Dock neighbourhood.
